Based in Vancouver with over 10 years of Film Industry experience in Production Design, Art Direction, Set Design, and Set Decorating. It is one of my true joys to take an idea that starts as a spark and help it to grow- through careful understanding, research, communicating through 3D models & illustrations, construction drafting, & working alongside internal and external contractors, guiding a vision from concept to reality.
I believe that good design involves thoughtful understanding and compassion for our surroundings. My philosophy of building and empowering a kind, beautiful, and diverse world is applied to all projects, relationship building & leadership, as well as in my daily life.
Recently, my work has helped create numerous productions as a Set Designer for Avatar the Last Airbender S2 & S3, Eternity (A24), Suits L.A, and as the in-house Production Designer for the web-studio, AFL Entertainment. I have also designed numerous Independent feature films, shorts, TV commercials, and Leo Award winning music videos. I’ve worked as both a Set Buyer and Fabricator on various other productions such as Monarch- Legacy of Monsters, Alaska Daily, Snowpiercer, Project Blue Book, and Timeless.
Outside of the Film Industry, I have designed bespoke brands, logos, and product packing solutions for local food & beverage clients, as well as worked with contractors and builders to create architectural models and illustrations for various residential projects.
In addition to design work, my non fiction writing has been shortlisted for the Malahat Review’s Open Season Awards, The Constance Rooke Creative Nonfiction Prize, and won an honourable mention in SubTerrain’s Lush Triumphant Awards, published 2020.
